Dattaram Gondhali's Remarkable Journey in Public Service

Dattaram Gondhali's life has been a testament to his unwavering dedication and tireless service to his community. In 1996, he joined the Civil Defence as a volunteer, and his passion for public welfare only grew from there.

Over the years, Gondhali's contributions have been truly remarkable. He served as a Staff Officer at Civil Defence Uran from 1996 to 1998, and then took on the role of Divisional Warden at Civil Defence Uran from 1999 to 2011. During this time, he also held the position of District President at the Yusuf Meherali Centre in Tara from 2005 to 2008.

Gondhali's commitment to social justice extended beyond his work with the Civil Defence. From 2005 to 2008, he served as the President of the Kashtakari Mukti Sanghatana in Uran Taluka. He also became a member of the Naik Foundation in Mumbai, where he has been actively involved since 2006.

In 2006, Gondhali took on the role of Uran East Region Chef at the Uran Samajik Sanghatan, and he continued to serve as the Deputy Chief Warden at the Civil Defence, Raigad. Throughout his career, he has collaborated with various other NGOs, working tirelessly to improve the lives of those around him.

Gondhali's dedication to consumer protection is equally impressive. From 2012 onwards, he served as the President of Consumer Protection in Uran Taluka. In addition, he has been the founder member and President of the SDMA Association, further demonstrating his unwavering commitment to the well-being of his community.

Appreciating a Life Dedicated to Disaster Preparedness

In August 2012, driven by a sense of civic duty, Anikeet began his journey as a volunteer with the Civil Defense. This was just the start of a remarkable career dedicated to safeguarding your community in times of crisis.

Over the next few years, you steadily climbed the ranks, becoming a Post Warden in December 2012 and then a Voluntary Instructor in December 2013. his unwavering commitment and expertise did not go unnoticed, and in March 2016, he was appointed as a Disaster Management Master Trainer on  the State Disaster Management Authorities Panel.

His passion for this vital work only grew stronger, and in February 2017, you founded the Sdma Association  in Raigad. This allowed you to expand your reach and impact, preparing communities for the challenges that lay ahead.

When the devastating Kolhapur-Sangli floods struck in 2019, and the Nisarg Cyclone hit in 2020, your tireless efforts were a beacon of hope. You worked tirelessly, distributing emergency kits and guiding people to hospitals for vaccination during the COVID-19 lockdown. Your selfless actions saved countless lives.

The Mahad floods in July 2021 and the Taliye Wadi landslide that followed presented new challenges, but you met them with unwavering determination. 

He trainned Apada Mitra and Sakhis From Raigad and Thane District. During Maharashtra Shree Award, held at Khaqrghar he did A great work As leaders of Apada mitra And Sakhi in giving First Aid to peoples Affected by the Heat wave and Victims of stampage. 

Now, as he work on a Disaster Risk Reduction project with AKAHI in Alibaug with Sdmaa Association As Main Trainer ,His legacy of service and his commitment to building resilient communities continue to inspire all who know him. His journey is a testament to the power of one person to make a profound difference in the lives of others.
